Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to support commercial facilities throughout the DMV area. This position will be responsible for HVAC controls programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance involving mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on DDC and BAS experience , excellent troubleshooting skills, and a professional, customer-focused approach when working at commercial client locations.
Required Qualification- 3+ years of HVAC Controls experience.
- Hands-on experience with Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) .
- Experience with one or more major controls platforms, such as:
- Honeywell
- Siemens
- Schneider
- Trane
- Carrier
- Commercial HVAC experience required.
- Residential-only HVAC experience will not meet the requirements.
- Strong mechanical and electromechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with hand tools and electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while traveling between customer locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Metasys .
- Experience supporting large commercial construction projects .
- Experience with complex commercial BAS/DDC installations and commissioning.
