Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program - Required

• 1 Year of experience as a First Assistant - Preferred

Licenses, Certifications, & Training: Grace Period

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required - 30 days

• Certified as a First Assistant with a nationally recognized organization that is accepted in TN - Required

• Registered as a Surgical Assistant with the state of TN - Required - 90 days

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (SA) Surgical Assistant must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Certificate
• (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant, or (SA-C) Surgical Assistant Certified
