Job Description
Job DescriptionLanger Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. is hiring immediately for a full-time Mechanic at our West Allis facility. This union position includes health insurance and pension benefits.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift, with occasional Saturdays
Pay: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and roofing equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using standard diagnostic tools
- Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, local, state, and federal regulations
- Operate company vehicles as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of mechanic experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR required
- CDL Class A is a plus
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs.
