Senior System Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Senior System / Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team in Savannah, GA. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with exposure to a wide range of enterprise systems and infrastructure projects. What You’ll Do Design, implement, and maintain server and network infrastructure. Manage Windows and Linux environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage, backup, and security solutions. Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Must‑Have Skills & Experience Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and VMware/Hyper‑V. Familiarity with networking, firewalls, storage, and backup systems. Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Nice‑to‑Have Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments). Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
