Staff Domain Expert, Customer Support

Overview Primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with preventive maintenance, updating, fixing, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex equipment at customer sites. Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service. Assures operational quality of system equipment and coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime. Responsibilities Provide service support for customers located at Intel, Santa Clara, including tool repair, customer management, and logistics tasks. Diagnose and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment within a cleanroom environment. Communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and management through written and verbal channels. Maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction across global contact and service centers. Qualifications Education: Associate of Science in Electronics Technology (ASET) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Engineering Technology. Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Basic understanding of electronics, optics, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical systems. Familiarity with computer theory, operating systems (Windows, Unix), networking, and MS Office tools. Ability to learn preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques quickly. Semiconductor process knowledge (completion of KLA Introduction to Semiconductor Processes course preferred). Core Competencies: Adaptability and willingness to learn new technical skills. Effective communication (verbal and written). Customer focus and ability to build trust. Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines. Collaborative mindset and responsiveness under supervision. Must be able to obtain an Intel badge. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Experience with semiconductor equipment and cleanroom operations. Prior experience in a customer support or service engineering role at a technology company. Knowledge of AI‑driven insights and value realization in customer engagements. Pay & Benefits Base Pay Range: $29.57 - $50.29 per hour. Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas.
