Role Overview The Human Resources Expert supports teams and leaders to build a sales force that is passionate about exceeding guest expectations and fosters a workplace where teams love to work. Responsibilities Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests warmly, helping them find what they need, and ending transactions with a sincere thank you. Actively support team efforts, assist peers in other areas, and maintain a positive, respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience. Work with the HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills for in‑store and digital shopping. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action as needed. Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team engagement and minimize business disruption. Support compliance with company policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Qualifications Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology. Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot and follow multi‑step processes. Attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast‑paced environment. Capability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Physical and Work Requirements Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 44 pounds. Work in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements. Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; shift length may vary. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
