This position works in the Main Kitchen alongside other Cook's, Food Service Assistants, and/or departmental supervisors to prepare a variety of foods and modified foods with various cooking methods and equipment which includes steaming, baking, boiling, frying, broiling, grilling, an Institutional Robot Coupe, and meat grinder to meet the production schedule. Position will maintain food/supply inventory daily. Position will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing workstation and equipment used. Be flexible enough to work in other departmental areas as needed.

Salary Range: $26,851.00 - $46,991.00

• Experience in institutional food services.
• The ability to read and write and the ability to learn food preparation and cleaning procedures.
• The ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees and residents.
• The ability to learn, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.

Physical Requirements: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering (picking, pinching, typing), grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, ability to exert up to 50 lbs of occasional force and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects. Visual Acuity Requirements: Visual acuity to determine acuity accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
