Shipping & Logistics CoordinatorJob SummaryBLUSA Defense Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of materials and finished goods within our manufacturing and distribution operations. This position is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing shipping documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting on-time delivery to customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively manages multiple priorities, and communicates professionally with internal teams, customers, and external logistics partners.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage daily shipping and logistics activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products.Prepare and process shipping documentation, including pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other required export/import documentation.Schedule shipments with freight carriers and monitor deliveries to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.Communicate with internal departments, freight forwarders, carriers, and customers to resolve shipping, transportation, and logistics issues.Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).Collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, and customer service teams to support efficient material flow and shipment readiness.Identify opportunities to improve shipping and logistics processes while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.Utilize ERP systems, including Global Shop Solutions (preferred), to process orders, manage shipments, and maintain inventory records.Use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, to manage communications, reports, and documentation.Perform other shipping, logistics, and inventory-related duties as assigned.Required EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.Required ExperienceMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing or distribution environment.Experience preparing pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.Experience using Global Shop Solutions or a similar ERP system is preferred.Required Skills & AbilitiesExcellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and export documentation.Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective interpersonal and customer service skills for working with internal departments, customers, freight carriers, and external partners.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
