Senior Software Development Engineer

Salary: $79,200 - 209,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We are looking for 5+ years of software development experience, ideally in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, security services, or large-scale backend platforms.
• You should have strong programming ability in Java, C++, C, Go, or a comparable systems or backend language.
• You should have a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• You should demonstrate strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

• We design, implement, test, debug, and operate components of OCIs Key Management Service.
• We build secure, scalable, and maintainable software for KMS services and related infrastructure.
• We contribute to features that support key lifecycle management, cryptographic operations, encryption at rest, and service integrations.
• We troubleshoot production issues and take part in operational readiness, on-call support, incident response, and reliability enhancements.
• We collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and other OCI teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• We produce clear technical documentation, including design notes, runbooks, and operational guidance.
