AES a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

What Drives Success

The Plant Manager at our Lennox AES facility in Wheeling, West Virginia plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily manufacturing operations. This person will manager around 30 employees. This role drives excellence in safety, staffing, quality, productivity, and cost control while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, people-focused leaders with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to partner effectively across departments to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily plant operations - own safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Coach and develop team leads, providing feedback, performance management, and training.
• Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
• Build a high-performing, engaged workforce focused on meeting daily production goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and HR.
• Monitor labor utilization, schedule accuracy, and material flow to meet production demands.
• Track and report on key plant metrics, identifying trends and driving corrective actions.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication across all levels, from leadership to frontline employees.
• Identify and implement process improvements using lean tools.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply that knowledge to daily production
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or operations systems a plus
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and safety practices

Other Work Requirements

• This is an on-site role based in Wheeling, West Virginia (This position is 100% onsite)

What We Offer

Compensation : This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $65,000 - $85,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
