Supporting the Chicago team remotely, the full-time Import Specialist will process customer data for international goods movement, serve as a customer service liaison, and ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations. Key responsibilities Serve as the customer service liaison, resolving issues related to billing and shipment tracking Process Customs and Participating Government Agency entries for the clearance of goods into the United States Coordinate shipments and maintain communication with customers, carriers, and vendors Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience in customs and/or logistics Ability to stay up-to-date on regulations and compliance requirements Experience with client submission requirements and clearance of specific commodities Willingness to complete required courses within twelve months of employment
