Shape the future of student success as a dedicated BCBA/Autism Specialist, supporting learners and staff in a dynamic K-12 environment. This onsite, full-time contract role runs through June 2027 and provides the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact across four local schools. You’ll deliver critical behavioral consultation services, conduct high-quality Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), design and refine Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and empower educators and paraprofessionals to foster positive classroom environments for students with autism.

Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required (attach screenshot with application)
• Prior school-based BCBA/Autism Specialist experience highly preferred
• Expertise in performing FBAs and devising BIPs
• Strong coaching skills for training teachers and support staff in behavioral strategies
• Track record of successful collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to support autism-focused classrooms with evidence-based practices
• Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school sites
• Must clear drug screening, fingerprinting, and CORI/background check

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with teachers and support teams to improve student outcomes
• Observe, assess, and address behavioral needs through FBAs and BIPs
• Provide ongoing coaching, modeling, and feedback to instructional staff
• Collaborate with administrators, related service providers, and families
• Document interventions and progress clearly and comprehensively
• Adhere to a regular onsite schedule, arriving and departing on time
• Communicate proactively about absences due to illness in accordance with procedures
