Our client in Stockbridge, Massachusetts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with strong organizational skills and experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and payment posting
• Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation
• Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, or similar accounting support role
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
