We are seeking a motivated and strategic insurance professional to run a Farmers insurance agency by leading the growth, operations, and client service functions of a dynamic insurance agency. We are currently looking for a motivated and personable Principal Agent to anchor our local sales team. Responsibilities

Lead our local sales efforts by identifying and connecting with potential clients in the community.

Assess the individual needs of families and business owners to provide comprehensive coverage solutions.

Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and follow up on inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Review existing client policies regularly to ensure their protection evolves with their changing life circumstances.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a supportive and productive office atmosphere.

Represent The Atlantic District at local events and participate in regional networking opportunities to grow our brand presence.

Requirements

Virginia Property and Casualty Insurance License.

Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.

Three or more years of successful insurance sales experience.

Strong track record of relationship building and local networking.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency in standard office software and agency management systems.

Ability to commute daily to our Chesapeake office.
