We are seeking a motivated and strategic insurance professional to run a Farmers insurance agency by leading the growth, operations, and client service functions of a dynamic insurance agency. Responsibilities

Develop new relationships within the Norfolk community to grow our local presence.

Meet with prospective clients to evaluate their existing coverage and identify gaps.

Present tailored insurance solutions that align with the specific needs of local families and businesses.

Maintain an active schedule of community events and networking opportunities to represent The Atlantic District.

Collaborate with our internal support staff to ensure each policy is managed accurately from the start.

Track your progress and outreach efforts to continuously refine your approach to community growth.

Requirements

Active Property Casualty Insurance License for the state of Virginia.

Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify potential leads independently.

Strong comfort level with face-to-face networking and community engagement.

Clear and empathetic verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of insurance underwriting guidelines.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience in a client-facing role.
