Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI, NIH, ENPC, PALS Must-Have: Trauma Level II experience is a plus Description: Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. 1+ years of experience is acceptable. Ready to provide certifications prior to starting the assignment. Unit has 55 ER bays and 454 licensed inpatient beds. Patient ratios target is 2.6 manhours per visit. Patient experience requirements include following healthcare standards. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. Advanced skills may be needed based on procedures performed. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs. Employees participate in monthly staff meetings and daily huddles. Staff has reported that this is a great place to work due to a family-like atmosphere and supportive management. A strong emphasis is placed on patient satisfaction. The local area offers a variety of activities from outdoor experiences to cultural attractions. This position offers the opportunity to work with new GE bedside monitors implemented this year.
