Job Details We are seeking an Emergency Room Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. This position requires a commitment to an exceptional level of patient care and client service, the ability to make quick and accurate decisions, and the capacity to handle the fast‑paced, high‑stress environment of an emergency room. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled veterinary professionals. Responsibilities Providing immediate care to emergency patients, including initial examination, diagnostic testing, and treatment. Performing emergency surgeries as necessary. Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Communicating effectively with pet owners about the condition of their pets, treatment options, and potential outcomes. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and emergency care. Providing compassionate care to all patients and owners. Participating in continuing education programs to enhance professional skills and knowledge. Qualifications A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with significant experience in emergency medicine. Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) or completion of a residency in ECC is highly desirable. A current license to practice veterinary medicine. Excellent surgical skills with experience in emergency surgery. Exceptional communication skills to explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners. A strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure. A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
