Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either an inpatient or outpatient setting while crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehab professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Document patient evaluations, treatment processes, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences for cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable accredited degree

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior applicable experience is highly preferred
