Job Summary

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and integration of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD design experience, preferably with Creo , and experience supporting products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems.
• Create and interpret 2D drawings and perform part/assembly-level CAD modeling.
• Develop innovative solutions for high-performance, high-pressure pneumatic mechanisms/systems .
• Support structural and thermal analysis using hand calculations and FEA .
• Participate in design reviews, including PDR/CDR .
• Support prototyping, integration, testing, and production activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve design challenges.
• Manage small to medium-sized engineering projects and processes.
• Prepare design specifications, analysis, recommendations, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field .
• 4+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong CAD design and drafting experience; Creo preferred .
• Experience with part and assembly-level modeling .
• Ability to create and interpret 2D mechanical drawings .
• Knowledge of structural analysis and basic FEA .
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage small to medium engineering projects.
• Must be able to work onsite in Amityville, NY.
