Job Title: English Teacher FLSA Status: Exempt EEO Category: (3) Professionals Position Summary Core content curriculum creation, implementation, and delivery in the classroom. Position Responsibilities Create and implement instructional activities that foster an engaging learning environment. Maintain accurate records pursuant to laws, district policies, and school regulations. Select and adapt instructional resources to meet diverse student needs, including learning styles and special needs. Enforce discipline in accordance with school policies. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, and professionals. Model professional and ethical standards in interactions with students, parents, peers, and the community. Ensure continuous student growth and achievement appropriate for age, subject, and program. Provide regular updates on student progress to colleagues and parents. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Perform other duties as assigned. Undergo a background check and drug test upon offer. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area. Highly organized, flexible, and supportive of boarding students and families. Ability to create lesson plans that meet the needs of a diverse student population. Technologically savvy. Preferred Skills Master’s degree in a relevant subject area. Former student athlete. International education experience. Experience working with student athletes. NCAA compliance experience. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes exceeding 40 lbs. Comfortable working in outdoor temperatures for reasonable periods.
