We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician A who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope. ABOUT THE ROLE The Maintenance Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm Mon - Fri WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be made Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR High school diploma Five or more years’ experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive (planned) and Corrective (unplanned) Maintenance Knowledge of and experience working in all the following areas: ▪ Power Transmission – chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etc. ▪ Lubrication – oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etc. ▪ Hydraulics & Pneumatics – valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping and tubing, etc. ▪ DC Circuits – relays, contactors, power supplies, etc. ▪ AC Circuits (120V to 480V) – motors, drives, transformers, etc. Process Controls ▪ Industrial Automation – robotics, PID, machine control, etc. ▪ PLCs & Networking – Allen Bradly, communication, signals, I/O, LANs, etc. Desired Skills Associates degree or 2+ years of vocational training Experience with maintenance technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Ultrasound Inspection, Oil Analysis, and Precision Alignment Certifications in mechanical/industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, controls, etc.) Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) WHAT WE OFFER Competitive Compensation Retirement Savings Employee Stock Purchase Plan Medical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance Coverage Holistic Health & Well-Being Programs Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for Health and Dependent Care Vision and other Voluntary Benefits and Discounts Paid Time Off and Holidays Paid Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity) Educational Assistance Program BUILDING INCLUSIVE WORKSPACES At Amrize, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
