Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend required | No on-call obligation

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with the clinical care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function studies
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Iowa
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and airway management
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including every 3rd weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• ACLS certification
• Experience with neonatal or pediatric respiratory care
