Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize electromagnetic navigation technologies using physics-based modeling and experimental validation methods
- Design, build, and evaluate prototypes to enhance system accuracy, reliability, and performance characteristics
- Apply signal analysis and system-level modeling to address complex technical engineering challenges
- Perform data analysis, simulation, and characterization studies to guide design and optimization decisions
- Transfer validated technologies and technical knowledge into product development programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years engineering experience, or Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years
- Demonstrated expertise in electromagnetic theory, system modeling, and signal analysis
- Experience with modeling and simulation software tools for engineering analysis
- Hands-on prototype development and integrated hardware system testing
- Knowledge of magnetic field generation, coil design, sensor technologies, and signal processing
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, ANSYS, or COMSOL
- Medical device development experience in regulated environments preferred
