Your main responsibilities will include crafting delicious cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring every guest enjoys a fantastic experience. You’ll engage with guests, taking drink orders and providing recommendations while maintaining a friendly, upbeat atmosphere. Your schedule will be an on-call arrangement, meaning flexibility is key!

Prepare for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business demands. Extensive experience in beverage preparation is crucial, so be prepared to showcase your talents with cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Mastering mixology and garnishing techniques will set you apart in delivering stunning presentations that guests will remember. You'll also need to be proficient with POS systems and cash handling, ensuring smooth transactions.

A TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification is a must, as is strong communication and customer service prowess. Since you'll be multitasking in a lively, fast-paced environment, your ability to juggle tasks efficiently is key. Don't forget about inventory management and bar stocking as essential parts of your day. Basic math and computer literacy will help keep everything in check, and adhering to safety, sanitation, and liquor-law compliance will ensure a secure environment for everyone.
