De Soto, Kansas Occupational Medicine NP/PA Locum Tenens Opportunity
Night Shift Coverage | Onsite Occupational Health | 12-Hour Shifts

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Occupational Medicine locum tenens coverage in De Soto, Kansas . This is an onsite industrial health position supporting employees through injury evaluation, first aid, early intervention, ergonomics, and return-to-work care.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for an NP/PA with prior Occupational Medicine or industrial health experience who is comfortable practicing independently during overnight coverage.

Clinical Scope

Evaluate and triage workplace injuries and employee health concerns
Provide first aid for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints
Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend corrective strategies
Support early intervention and return-to-work planning
Educate employees on injury prevention, wellness, and healthy workplace practices
Collaborate with onsite safety and HR teams
Document clinical assessments and workplace-health findings

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
NCCPA or AANP certification, as applicable
Active Kansas license
Active DEA
Current BLS
Occupational Medicine experience required

Preferred Experience

1+ year of industrial, Occupational Medicine, or sports medicine experience
Ergonomics and workplace injury-prevention experience
Familiarity with OSHA recordability and workers' compensation
CEAS or OSHA 10 certification

Compensation

$80/hour
