This position requires a natural interest in exploring innovative solutions, stay up to date on procurement laws and continuously seek to improve procurement processes. The day-to-day responsibilities for this position include providing support for a variety of procurement projects and assisting in developing competitive solicitations including Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Negotiation (ITNs), and Requests for Information (RFIs). This role will ensure that all specified sourcing strategies strictly align with established policies, procedures, formats, and deadlines. This position will also provide assistance to the Chief of General Services and Procurement on various Agency projects. Coordinates with the assigned unit to identify procurement needs and timelines. High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field preferred.

• Three (3) years of professional purchasing or procurement experience in a governmental setting.
• Familiarity with Florida purchasing statutes and rules (especially Ch. Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM).
• Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN).
• Experience using MyFloridaMarketPlace, Ariba, VIP, and Tableau.
