Role Specific Responsibilities: Evaluate patient outcomes and make changes in the plan of care within the multidisciplinary team. Provide explanations and instructions to patients and/or responsible persons, ensuring understanding of respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge. Accept reassignment to other units when necessary. Share clinical knowledge with staff and students and serve as a role model for clinical practice. Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care. Provide respiratory care as ordered by the physician, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.
