Jr Buyer Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a junior buyer co-op for a six-month program supporting procurement operations in Milpitas, California. The role involves managing invoice discrepancies, investigating purchase order and payment issues, and recommending process improvements within the MedTech supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and prioritize open invoice mismatches based on aging, payment date, and supplier impact
• Investigate discrepancies in pricing, quantities, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with buyers, accounts payable, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve payment issues
• Analyze mismatch data to identify recurring trends and recommend corrective actions
• Develop metrics and reports on invoice backlog, resolution time, and supplier performance

Requirements

• Enrolled as junior or senior in accredited university pursuing Bachelor of Sciences
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Preferred majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Finance
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel)
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
