Part-Time Contracted Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care in a holistic manner, focusing on key therapy treatments. You will work closely with a knowledgeable and well-respected team to address patients health and wellness concerns, particularly in ion therapy, and administering IV ozone under the supervision of a collaborating physician Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct patient examinations and evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging) Order and review tests/labs Educate patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities Manage patient care including therapies and monitor patient progress, communicate with patients via messaging system, interpret and relay lab results and specialty testing results, and update medical records accurately Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care Consistent, thoughtful physician support and professional development Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, offering compassionate care Demonstrate excellent teamwork and ability to handle stressful situations with concentration and energy Utilize logical thinking for effective problem-solving and contribute to a professional working environment Other duties requested or assigned. Requirements & Skills Graduation from an accredited NP program NP license in Texas 2+ years of clinical work experience preferred Interest in holistic and functional medicine Skillful at listening and identifying key information or details. Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently. Flexibility and adaptability in handling changing priorities. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with resilience. Experience with injections and IV infusions is a plus Independent Contractor / 2 8 hours per week
