To plan, schedule and document deliveries.

• To administer all documentation relating to shipping and receiving material.

• To plan and schedule the delivery sequences taking in consideration truck capacities.

• To communicate schedule and delivery sequence changes to the Sales Department.

• To report on time delivery performance information.

• To assist in the development and training of other crew members.

• To administer all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

• To achieve required on time delivery performance standards.

• To support and encourage other crew members.

• To comply with MVS health and safety and OSHA requirements and policies.

• To represent the company in a professional, friendly, manner.

• To promote good departmental and inter-departmental team spirit.

• To participate in and support Continuous Improvement Programs, HR and other company initiatives.

• To carry out duties in accordance with ISO standards, DOT, and other company

  procedures.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. Environment is not fully climate controlled.
