Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Leadership experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred.

Unit Details: Prepares patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR. Current ratios: Day RN 1:5/6; Night RN 1:6/7. Uses medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150s in every patient room, workstations on wheels, and Tap and Go for computer/documentation access.

Shift & Scheduling: Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift).

Floating Requirements: May float to Med-Surg units 3W, 5W, and K8 (sister units).

10 days maximum time off

1 reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
