Job Summary Works under minimal supervision to assist in project development while exercising independent judgement and authority as required. Manage overall project and program development activities. The Project Manager will provide day‑to‑day operational support for the IMPACT Study, a large, multi‑site federally funded maternal health research program. This position serves as a central point of coordination between investigators, clinical teams, research staff, community partners, study participants, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist with study operations including participant tracking, visit coordination, regulatory support, data quality monitoring, recruitment and retention activities, meeting coordination, reporting, training support, and communication across study teams. Ensure protocol compliance, maintain study documentation, monitor study milestones, and support successful execution of study deliverables. Exercise decision‑making and problem‑solving skills to manage a portfolio of projects, including all process development initiatives from design to implementation. Serve as point‑of‑contact for the business unit for receipt, coordination and analytical preparation of information. Develop and maintain project work plans to measure and manage progress against budgets, project scopes, goals, timelines and deliverables, clearly communicating expectations to team members and management. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; develop best practices and tools for program execution. Align business processes, clinical care/standards and research practices with institutional and national standards and provide mechanisms to deliver information to staff/faculty as necessary. Develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external agencies and organizations related to the Chairman’s Office. Audit departmental processes, offer recommendations for process improvement and efficiency, and provide standard and ad‑hoc reports to business unit leadership as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field. Experience: 5 years in medical administration that includes people leadership and project management. Education may be considered in lieu of experience. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree; at least 2 years of experience coordinating projects, programs, clinical operations, healthcare initiatives, or research studies; experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines; experience working with spreadsheets, databases and project tracking systems; experience communicating with multidisciplinary teams.
