Network Administrator

Overview DirectPath Recruiting Services is partnering with a well-established Huntsville organization to identify a talented Network Administrato r who will play a critical role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys working across networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and end-user support in a collaborative environment. What You'll Do Administer and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and user permission Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and system issue Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewall administration and EDR monitoring Perform system upgrades, patch management, and hardware refresh initiatives Execute backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity Document network configurations, policies, procedures, and technical standards Partner with internal IT staff on infrastructure improvements, upgrades, and strategic technology initiatives Provide occasional after-hours support for maintenance activities and critical issues What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in Network Administration, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Support Strong experience with Active Directory DHCP and DNS Firewalls and VPN technologies Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Preferred Qualifications Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or related certifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or multi-site environments is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity Stable and growing organization with long-term career potential Opportunity to work with modern infrastructure and security technologies High visibility role supporting critical business operations Collaborative team environment with exposure to a broad range of IT projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
