Phlebotomist-Patient Service Center
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its patient service center in Newnan, Georgia. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing and collect payments from patients
- Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- 2+ years phlebotomy experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
