The Fairfield Columbus New Albany is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as the Assistant General Manager. As a vital member of our team, the Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will assist in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities: Operational Management:

• Assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
• Implement and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Address any operational issues promptly and effectively, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and guest experience.

Staff Supervision and Training:

• Support the recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff members.
• Supervise and provide guidance to department managers and frontline employees to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to standards.
• Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork, collaboration, and employee growth.

Guest Relations:

• Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the implementation of guest service initiatives and programs to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with repeat guests and VIP clientele, ensuring their needs and preferences are met consistently.

Financial Management:

• Assist in developing and managing the hotel's annual budget and financial plans.
• Monitor revenue and expenses, analyze financial reports, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality and guest satisfaction.

Sales and Marketing Support:

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote the hotel, maximize revenue, and achieve occupancy targets.
• Assist in developing and executing sales strategies, special promotions, and marketing campaigns to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
• Participate in sales presentations, client meetings, and networking events to drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hotel management or operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
