Director, Translational Medicine, Neurology

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director of Translational Medicine to lead neurological and neuropsychiatric drug development programs. The role involves designing biomarker strategies, managing clinical trial biomarker data, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to support late-stage development of neurology assets.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement biomarker plans for clinical programs, including protocols and lab manuals
- Select appropriate biomarker assays and vendors, managing outsourcing partnerships
- Oversee clinical biomarker data delivery, analysis, and timeline management
- Prepare and deliver translational and biomarker presentations internally and externally
- Maintain awareness of relevant scientific literature and act as subject-matter expert for disease biology
Requirements
- PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience with 10+ years translational medicine experience
- 7+ years late-stage clinical biomarker experience in biotech or pharma
- Recognized expertise in translational biomarkers for neurology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing projects and timelines with CROs and thought leaders
- Proven scientific and leadership expertise in team-based environments
Compensation: $217,960 - $295,806 base (varies by location)
