Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout Colorado and surrounding markets. This position is ideal for a hands-on superintendent with experience completing retail, grocery, restaurant, office, medical, fitness, or other fast-paced commercial projects. Candidates must be comfortable traveling regularly and working nights when required, particularly on renovations or projects within active facilities. Responsibilities Manage daily field operations from project start through completion Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met Enforce jobsite safety standards and company procedures Review plans, specifications, and project documentation Monitor workmanship and ensure all work meets quality standards Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and field personnel Conduct daily reports, progress tracking, and look-ahead schedules Manage punch-list completion and project closeout Minimize disruption when working in occupied or operational facilities Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience preferred Experience with retail, grocery, tenant improvement, renovation, or ground-up projects Strong scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety practices Comfortable working independently and managing multiple trades Proficiency with construction management software and daily reporting Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel extensively and work nights when project schedules require it What We Offer Competitive compensation Travel-related expenses and allowances Opportunity to work with an established commercial general contractor Long-term career growth opportunities If you are an experienced Traveling Superintendent who takes ownership of the jobsite and consistently delivers quality projects on schedule, we would like to speak with you.
