Join our dynamic team as a Sales Engineer, where you will work closely with existing team members to manage in-house accounts and foster relationships with OEMs and manufacturing clients. This role involves following up with leads from trade shows and industry events, providing quotes, recommending products, and addressing technical inquiries. Strong communication skills and an organized approach are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the existing team to manage day-to-day communication with assigned in-house accounts.
• Follow up with leads generated from trade shows and industry events through email, text, and calls.
• Support quoting processes, product recommendations, and address technical questions.
• Maintain proactive communication and follow-ups with accounts.
• Expand and support the growing customer base in refrigeration, HVAC-R, and electronics.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in the engineering field.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Experience with engineering, sales engineering, troubleshooting, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in handling inbound and outbound calls and participating in trade shows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC-R components, or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC systems, equipment, and thermostats is preferred.
• Sales mindset with an engineering background to handle technical questions on refrigeration systems.
• Good teamwork ethic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
