Pharmacy Technician in Saint Paul, MN

A pharmacy technician position is available for an immediate 13-week contract to hire. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with weekend rotation on Saturdays and Sundays. The position is located in Saint Paul, MN.


Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription processing and reimbursement.
• Assist in prepackaging medication according to standards and government regulations.
• Support the Pharmacist by final checking prescriptions, including preparing medication for final review and packaging.
• Help maintain inventory by receiving and rotating medications/supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and supporting physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including checking equipment calibration and cleanliness.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license in hand.
• Willingness to learn and be trained; retail experience is welcome but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory standards.
