We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making through insightful financial reporting, modeling, and performance evaluation for our Las Vegas area client. This role will partner with business leaders to interpret trends, assess operational results, and deliver clear recommendations backed by data. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex financial information into practical business guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives.

• Evaluate financial performance by reviewing results against forecasts, budgets, and prior periods to identify key drivers and emerging trends.

• Prepare recurring and on-demand analyses that help leadership make informed decisions on business priorities and resource allocation.

• Investigate variances in revenue, expenses, and profitability, and summarize findings in a clear and actionable manner.

• Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets to uncover meaningful insights and improve financial visibility.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop reporting that supports business planning and operational performance reviews.

• Present financial findings and recommendations to management using concise summaries, dashboards, and supporting analysis.

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to create and refine financial models for planning and performance assessment.

• Strong understanding of variance analysis and the factors that influence financial results.

• Experience delivering ad hoc analysis in response to changing business needs and leadership requests.

• Proficiency in data analysis and data mining techniques to support financial decision-making.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
