Job Description

General Overview

Assists technologists with providing efficient, quality patient services by coordinating patient flow, and verifying and communicating examination protocols to patients.

Essential Responsibilities

• Enters and retrieves accurate information into RIS.
• Greets and assists the patient before, during, and following procedures. Prepares exam rooms for procedures.
• Provides clerical support to the section such as order clarification, faxing reports, answering phones.
• Maintains adequate supplies for efficient operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office or radiology office setting preferred.
• CPR American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
