Welder / Fabricator (Industrial) PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Welder/Fabricator for a premier, high-quality specialized manufacturing facility in the local area. Compensation: $18.50 $20.00 / hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Location: Local Area Reports To: Welding Supervisor Position Summary The Industrial Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fitting and welding non-pressure piping systems within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical blueprints skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Weld and fit up non-pressure piping systems according to technical specifications. Interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately determine weld placement and specifications. Ensure all welds meet strict quality standards; follow heat specifications to maintain the structural integrity of the welds. Maintain assigned welding equipment, machinery, and workspace to ensure a safe, efficient environment. Efficiently identify, repair, and perform necessary rework on components when required. Utilize grinders and other hand/power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces. Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Maintain excellent daily attendance and follow operational directions closely. Position Requirements 5+ years of dedicated welding experience in a manufacturing facility. Proficient in reading standard tape measures and executing precise layouts. Strong, proven understanding of structural/weld symbols and fit-up procedures. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. frequently throughout the shift. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Why Work with PrideStaff?
