PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Welder/Fabricator for a premier, high-quality specialized manufacturing facility in the local area. Compensation: $18.50 – $20.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Location: Local Area

Reports To: Welding Supervisor

Position Summary

The Industrial Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fitting and welding non-pressure piping systems within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical blueprints skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fit up non-pressure piping systems according to technical specifications.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately determine weld placement and specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet strict quality standards; follow heat specifications to maintain the structural integrity of the welds.
• Maintain assigned welding equipment, machinery, and workspace to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
• Efficiently identify, repair, and perform necessary rework on components when required.
• Utilize grinders and other hand/power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces.
• Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Maintain excellent daily attendance and follow operational directions closely.

Position Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated welding experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Proficient in reading standard tape measures and executing precise layouts.
• Strong, proven understanding of structural/weld symbols and fit-up procedures.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. frequently throughout the shift.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
