VDC Electrician

An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for a VDC (virtual design and construction) Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, hold a journeyman's or master electrician license, and possess basic computer knowledge. The main software's used are Revit and Navisworks. As a VDC Technician, you will be responsible for virtually designing electrical installations for new and existing commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage virtual models of electrical systems for commercial construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient designs. Utilize software tools to create detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and diagrams. Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents. Identify and resolve design conflicts and issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team during the installation phase. Maintain accurate records and documentation of design changes and updates.
