Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY
Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Telemetry

Schedule
Shift: Nights 18:45-07:15
Every other weekend coverage

Assignment Details
Contract lengths accepted: 13-20 weeks
36- or 48-hour contracts accepted

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, telemetry monitoring experience, charge experience
- Epic charting experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Monitor patients and interpret telemetry data for rhythm identification and management.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
- Up to 7 days max RTO (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week.
- Orientation: 24 hours.
