The successful candidate will help build our Utah practice, recruit and mentor staff, grow key client relationships, and influence the direction of our expansion. Benesch is expanding into Utah, and whether you are on the Wasatch Front or in Southern Utah, we encourage you to apply and join us in this exciting expansion.The impact you will have includes immediate contribution to contracted backlog, developing junior staff providing design and construction phase services, managing scope, schedule, budgets, and resources for multiple projects, contributing to local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives, assembling competent project communications, assuming responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews, and developing and overseeing task work plans for Engineers, Designers, Inspectors, and Technologists.Why this opportunity is different includes help building and shaping Benesch's Utah presence, influencing growth strategy, recruiting, and client development, leveraging national resources while maintaining local autonomy, and opportunity for expanded leadership responsibilities as the office grows.What you will need includes a BS in Civil Engineering or similar degree required, PE License, minimum 8+ years of relevant experience, ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong understanding and familiarity with project delivery in Utah, progressive experience working directly with clients developing relationships, with proven ability to win work, excellent leadership, communication, business development, project management, and client relation skills, and ability to recruit new talent.Pay range is USD $124,000 - $166,000.Benesch is an equal opportunity employer committed to a professional, inclusive, and compliant workplace.
