Responsibilities

• Complete all or most types of maintenance and repair work orders efficiently and accurately
• Perform drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, and finish work
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Install and repair doors, locks, hardware, appliances, and building components
• Complete unit turns and punch-list items
• Assist with emergency maintenance requests when needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance, construction, or handyman experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to use smartphones, apps, and work order management software

Communication Requirements

• Must speak, read, and write English fluently
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, residents, and coworkers
• Must be capable of explaining repairs, providing updates, and documenting work performed
• Strong customer service skills are required
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance experience
• Hotel maintenance experience
• HVAC troubleshooting experience
• EPA Certification
• Construction or remodeling experience
• Leadership or crew management experience
