Our family in Blaine, Washington is seeking a part-time, live-out elder care provider for a very sweet couple. The ideal person would live close by, be very friendly, easy going (go with the flow kind of person) and patient. We require assistance with home care, administering medication, bathing, traveling to and from doctor appointments, light cooking, light house keeping, occasional shopping/ errands and helping take care of a small dog, Husband is hard of hearing and needs help with changing his ostomy bag once a week, but is able to get around on his own, using his power wheelchair. The wife needs rides to and from dialysis 3 days a week. She is wheelchair-bound and needs help transferring. The job is about 30 hours per week maybe more some weeks depending on doctor appointments, This would be a typical schedule what could change slightly depending on appointments S-T-Th-S 10am to 12noon & 5pm to 7pm M-W-F 10am to 12:30 & ...pm to 7pm This position offers a wage of $20 to $25 per hour (depending on experience), and we are looking for someone who can commit to a regular schedule.
