Furniture Sales Associate (Showroom)
Location: Saint Joseph, MI
Pay: $18+ per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Our client, a locally owned furniture store in Saint Joseph, is seeking a Furniture Sales Associate to join their showroom team. This is a non-commission sales role where the focus is on providing exceptional customer service and helping customers select the right furniture for their homes. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a friendly attitude, and a genuine interest in helping customers find what they need.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers in the showroom with product selection
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
- Explain product features, options, and care instructions
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Work with the delivery/warehouse team to coordinate customer orders
- Assist with sales transactions, including processing payments and paperwork
- Previous retail sales experience preferred (furniture or home goods a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during showroom hours
- Competitive pay: $18+ per hour (based on experience)
