Outdoor Living Project Manager

We are a fast-growing outdoor construction company specializing in fencing, decks, patios, hardscapes, and custom outdoor living projects . We are looking for a high-level Project Manager who can also sell —someone who brings industry experience, leadership, and drive from day one. This is not an entry-level position and not a role for someone who needs training . We are looking for a professional who already understands outdoor construction, knows how to sell projects, manage jobs, and actively generate their own leads through networking, relationships, and hustle. What You’ll Be Responsible For Selling outdoor construction projects including decks, patios, hardscapes, and custom outdoor living Running company-provided leads and generating your own leads through networking, referrals, and relationship building Performing on-site estimates and guiding clients from first meeting to signed contract. Managing projects from sale through completion. Communicating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Maintaining organized, accurate project documentation Using Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Docs, and other software tools to track jobs, schedules, and budgets Solving problems in real time and proactively preventing issues Bringing ideas, improvements, and leadership to the table Representing the company professionally with clients and within the community What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable) Experience in outdoor construction (decks, hardscapes, patios, or similar) Proven sales experience in construction or a related trade Ability to self-generate leads through networking, contacts, and initiative Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and cloud-based tools Ability to manage multiple projects at once without chaos A mindset of ownership, accountability, and follow-through Someone who can add value on day one , not learn the basics The Type of Person Who Thrives Here You don’t wait to be told what to do—you see opportunities and act You enjoy meeting people, building relationships, and growing your book of business You take pride in your work and your reputation You solve problems instead of passing them off You care about clients, coworkers, and the community You want to grow with a company, not bounce from job to job Who This Is NOT For Someone who only runs provided leads and never generates their own Someone who avoids networking or relationship building Someone who needs constant training or supervision Someone who is disorganized or struggles with technology Someone looking for “just a sales job” without responsibility Required Experience Minimum 5 years project management experience in outdoor living, landscape construction, hardscapes, pools, residential construction, or design-build construction. Experience managing projects valued from $10,000 to $250,000+. Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades. Strong understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing. Ability to read plans, specifications, and site layouts. Proven experience managing customer expectations and jobsite issues. Compensation Competitive base salary.
