One-On-One Nurse Registered Nurse - Cherokee County, GA (#R10273) Location: Cherokee County, GA Employment Type: Contract / School-Based Hourly Rate: $45.00 – $57.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides one-to-one nursing services to assigned students with identified medical needs to ensure safe participation in educational programs. Services are delivered in accordance with physician orders, individualized healthcare plans, CCSD policies, and applicable state and federal regulations. Why Join Us? Qualifications Job qualifications & certifications Current, unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR certification. Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or special education preferred. Spanish-English bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Skills Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently in a school setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct one-to-one nursing care to assigned students. Conduct daily health assessments and ongoing monitoring. Develop, implement, and update individualized healthcare plans and nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders. Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and special education teams. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation. Participate in required CCSD orientation, training, and compliance activities. Adhere to FERPA, HIPAA, and CCSD confidentiality requirements. Follow all district and site-specific policies and procedures.
